I am the type of person who loves to go shopping. It doesn't matter who I'm shopping with or what I am shopping for. I of course have favorite stores that I like to shop it, but I also like generic stores.

For example, I love shopping at upscale stores like Nordstrom's, but I also don't mind the gap. It may not be the greatest store, or my favorite store, but I als0 wouldn't pass up on a shopping spree there if it were offered to me.

The Gap Band

When I was in high school I was assigned a project in my history class that had to do with music. We had just finished learning about World War Two and had to write the lyrics to a song that told the of the war. my best friend Carly and I chose the song "You Dropped a Bomb on Me" by the Gap Band.

We were also instructed to do a bit of research about the song we chose to write our lyrics to. As it turned out, Gap Band is a band that came about in the 1970's and 1980's. The band started with the Wilson brothers and a large group of musicians from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Reflecting on this project it comes across a bit hokey, but it was really fun and a great project at the time that I will never forget.

Gap Kids Offers Cute Holiday Styles

I am not the person anyone would normally guess to be shopper of the gap. I am usually pretty outspoken about my feelings that the gap and other stores like the gap are boring and awful.

However, I really wanted to shopping for my adorable five year old nieces, and for the prices they offer, it is pretty hard to beat. I don't have enough money to go by my little nieces baby juicy or couture like I would like to, so I had to settle with something else. I didn't want to go super cheap like Walmart or anything like that, so I settled for something in the middle.

As it turned out, gap kids had some some really cute clothes for five year old girls. It was colorful and cute and fun. I actually had a very good time shopping around there. Maybe I will even go back sometime soon.
