The Gap Clothing Store A.K.A. The Gap

If you are in need of something chic, stylish, comfortable, yet simple, then The Gap clothing store is where you want to be. I rarely hear people refer to the store this way though, it's usually just termed The Gap. If one had to search for this store, The Gap would be under the category of clothing store. However, The Gap has so many other products to offer. It has shoes, hats, jackets and coats. Some may not know this, but you can also find perfume, purses, lotions, and even lip gloss at The Gap. Its versatility is one thing I love most about the Gap. It can be your one-stop-shop for all your clothing needs. You can get your entire outfit at one store while getting an outfit for your baby too, if you have one. This section for the little ones is affectionately called "The Baby Gap".

The New Old Navy New Logo

Even though there is such a subtle difference between the older Old Navy logo and the Old Navy new logo, the difference seems to make a difference. I think their new logo looks more like the Gap's log. They still have the same white letters but the font is different. The letters are shorter and fatter making them more noticeable. The blue background is a darker navy blue as opposed to the faded teal that used to be on the logo. I think the new logo has more of a chic, grown up look. The darker blue almost allows the consumers to take the Old Navy brand more seriously because adults can shop there as well and not just kids. Their new logo is definitely a change made on purpose by the corporation to signify their upgrade of style. Their new logo tells us Old Navy is not just khaki pants and summer dresses. They have skinny jeans and low cut tops with the different color flip flops that we all love.

You Can Always Notice the Gap Logo

I'm sure anyone will recognize the Gap Logo anywhere. So far, there is nothing like it. The logo is so simple, yet it is so genius. Those huge white letters seem to get straight to the point and they get the point across well. If you'll notice, other companies that are owned by the Gap, for example, Old Navy, also have the same simple logo with huge white letters. Somehow, it has been able to remain unique and effective. The color blue is also apart of the Gap's logo. Not to mention Old Navy's logo as well. This isn't your ordinary blue, it is sort of a faded, navy blue. Some may say, it's Gap blue. Whenever I see that particular color blue with huge white letters, I automatically think 'Gap'

What To Love About The Gap Clothing

When I think of the Gap clothing, I think of the style as light, modern, classy, and chic. I love their jean jackets! They always have different sorts of jean jackets for all sorts of weather types! They have bolero jackets, jean vests, short and long sleeve jean jackets, and even jean jackets with fur collars. They have so many sizes as well and that is what I love most about their clothing. You don't have to be a size two to get skinny jeans!!

Gap clothing is also of extreme quality. I have a pair of pants from the Gap that I have had for years and there are no tears, snags, holes, and their color hasn't faded in the dryer. New fashionable items from the Gap never go out of style, they will last you a long time, and their clothes are trendy for folks of all ages and sizes. And don't forget, the Gap is a place where you can ALWAYS find khaki pants no matter what the season or the size! Money always well spent!

An Experience At The Gap Store

Whenever I walked into the Gap Store, the first thing I always noticed was how clean the store was. It wasn't like other clothing stores in the mall that looked all picked over with clothes strewn all over the floor. Even though the Gap is always just as busy, they just did a really good job at keeping the racks neat, the clothes folded, and the floors clean. Something else I especially liked about my experience at the Gap was how the associates were so personable with me.

When I would try on clothes, they let me walk right in and make sure I have whatever size that I need. If it's anything I can't stand the most, it's being basically "patted down" and "strip searched" to make sure I don't steal anything. Okay-that's an exaggeration! My point is your experience will be a positive one and there is always an associate around to attend to any help you may need.

Shopping at the Gap Outlet Store

There are not too many differences between the Gap Outlet store and the main Gap store, except that the items at the outlet are priced a bit lower than at the main store. Usually, outlets are where consumers can go to buy the items that either didn't sell that well at the main store for various reasons, or were in surplus, or may have been returned.

I have been to many Gap Outlet stores and haven't seen too many differences among the clothes there. Everything was high-quality, clean, and I saved a ton of money!! What was very interesting to me was that the Gap corporation makes merchandise that are actually solely made for their outlet stores. That means, that when you go, you don't have to buy items that were returned or just didn't sell well. No one has to feel like they are settling for the left over stuff!
