Banana Republic Turquoise Necklace Forgotten

Not too many seasons ago it was a big frenzy for Banana Republic's turquoise necklace. Common looking stones, including turquoise, were a big fashion and adorned by the biggest names. Recently however, a new type of stone fashion has entered and become popular for Banana Republic shoppers. The trend these days seem to be smokey stones and earth-colored metals that bring more flesh color to a woman's face. Light-colored stones that bring some color to an outfit are still appreciated but quite possibly considered juvenile by most. Coming from a guy, I feel light colors and bodacious jewelry (opposed to earth-tones) remind me of feminine personality that attracts a guy in the first place.
